Bowling? Why not golf?

Golf is a very popular sport amongst celebrities and sporting heroes. Who don't know Tiger Wood? But how many people know Pete Weber, one of legendary in sport bowling? Indeed, golf more glamour than bowling.

But I have my own reasons why I choose bowling rather than golf. The main reason, bowling is a family sport. Do you ever see golfers bring their family including their baby in cart during playing golf? Ha.. ha.. very funny. But in bowling you can bring entire of your family, your wife, children, mom and dad...

A Happy Couple...better play at home
Yah... going to strike
Very happy and excited
Roll slow and steady
If your great-grandparents want to join also can, but make sure they are wearing pampers.
Bowling can be played anytime you want. If you wake up at 10.00pm and you want to play, you can go any bowling center. Normally bowling center closed at 1.00 or 2.00am in Malaysia. But don't bring your family, call your friends. But you are going mad if you bring your clubs and going to golf course on that time. I have many other reasons but no need to state here.
Some of them said you have no money, that's why you not play golf. Ha.. ha.. Who said like that? As everybody know golf is costly but bowling more costly. My bowling set worth RM4000. When active I spend about RM200 per week. Who said golf expensive than bowling?
Whooa.. is't strike?
Sunway Pyramid Mega Lanes

I would like to tell you about my favorite lane, Sunway Pyramid Mega Lanes. It's a fully computerized bowling center with 48 lanes. Offers best facilities consisting of a well equipped bowling pro-shop and a restaurant serving delicious local cuisine.

Sunway Pyramid is a distinctive retail landmark located in the heart of Petaling Jaya, an hour's drive from the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. The mall's most easily recognized design is the Egyptian-inspired Pyramid with an eye-catching lion standing guard at the entrance.

Its contains many shops and a massive entertainment complex featuring a cinema, Malaysia's largest ice rink and a state-of-the-art indoor archery range.
Many international tournament been held at this alley, usually organized by The Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC). During international tournament you can see many world-class bowlers. Sometimes famous local bowlers also will be around practicing or participating in local major tournaments.
I think this is the best bowling center throughout Malaysia. In what aspect? The answer is the condition of the lanes. Its offering well maintained wooden lanes with strong but smooth ball roll and gives lot of actions.
Since I live in Seri Manjung, I and my wife only play on this lanes when we are going there for vacation because we can go to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park's which hailed as Malaysia's largest theme park, then going for shopping and play bowling and ice-skating in Sunway Pyramid. My daughters love ice-skating.
What I hate about this bowling center? Because when I playing there my score comparatively low since there are many good bowlers, normally scoring above 200. When I play I must stay in bubble. Ahh... when I can score like them?
Bowling Rates: Weekday before 8pm @ RM4.50, after 8pm @ RM6.00. Weekend and public holiday @ RM6.00. Quite expensive for intermediate bowler like me... for cheap one maybe I should consider to build my own alley, using a coconut as a bowling ball and soda bottles are the pins.
